Roundwood West Corporation (RWC) offers residents, landowners and contractors a location to safely dispose of untreated vegetative forest fuels and storm debris. Our conditional burn permit allows us to legally burn materials generated offsite unlike a regular burn permit.

 

RWC utilizes a self contained machine called an Air Curtain Burner.  The Air Curtain Burner technology provides a clean, smoke free incinerating burn when the unit is at operating temperature while eliminating ash piles and burn scars on property, minimizing wildfire risk to landowners and the liability that comes with burning forest fuels.  

 

What are burner-friendly forest fuels? RWC is currently accepting:

• Pine needles, Cones

• Branches, Limbs, Brush

• Unmerchantable limbed logs and timber

• Small diameter tree thinning projects

• Stumps

No material over 16’ 6” length and stumps must have majority of rocks and dirt removed and cut off near ground height.

Cost:

Burn fee $20 per cubic yard including stumps up to 12 inches in diameter.

Stumps over 12”:  $2 per diameter inch.

Stumps over 20”:  $3 per diameter inch.

RWC does NOT accept materials with nails, paint, glue, treated wood/lumber, plywood or garbage.
